Effective 19 October 2026. This website provides information and authorised online nomination services for CPUT SRC elections administered by IEMSA.
Election rules come first
The applicable CPUT SRC Constitution, election regulations and authorised election-office instructions govern eligibility, nominations, screening, objections and results. Guides and the FAQ assistant simplify the process; they cannot approve a candidate or override the rules. Draft timetable entries can change.
Accounts and submissions
Provide accurate information, use an email account you control and keep your password and verification codes private. Do not impersonate another person or submit documents without authority. A public nomination is submitted only after successful email verification within an authorised window. Organisation representatives must formally submit accepted CSRC nominations. A draft, invitation or submission receipt is not approval.
Authorised access only
Your permissions determine your workspace. Do not attempt to bypass controls, inspect another person’s private records, upload harmful content, interfere with the service or use the email functions for unsolicited messages. Suspected misuse may be investigated and access restricted in accordance with applicable procedures.
Corrections, help and formal disputes
Submitted nominations are locked for screening. Contact the election office for an authorised correction. FAQ questions, support emails and WhatsApp messages do not lodge a formal nomination, objection or appeal, or extend a deadline. Follow the published instructions and use the official dispute channel.
Service availability
We work to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or email delivery. Prepare early and keep your nomination reference. If a technical issue affects you, contact the election office promptly and retain the relevant evidence. The election office determines any alternative process or deadline decision under the applicable rules.
